An existing unpermitted garage conversion in Tracy, CA needed to be brought into compliance before it could function as a legal ADU. Our team documented the existing conditions, redesigned portions of the conversion to meet current requirements, and prepared ADU permit and code compliance plans. After completing the permitting process, the ADU could be used as a rentable residential unit.

This San Jose code violation project involved an unpermitted home addition, vaulted ceilings, and kitchen remodel. Because much of the construction was already completed, we had to work backwards from the existing conditions, document what had been built, and prepare as-built and permit plans for the unpermitted remodel and addition to bring the property toward compliance.

This Redwood City commercial code violation involved existing occupancy and use issues that needed to be resolved with the building department. We prepared existing-condition and code compliance plans and worked through the required commercial occupancy changes to help establish a compliant path forward.
